RESEARCH v0.15
INVESTMENT VALUATION / CONDITIONAL RESEARCH

Investment valuation & potential research

Separate monetary quality and observed adoption, then examine entry price and the conditions for future outcomes.

Assess each layer separately, without a combined score. Strong quality does not establish broad adoption; broad adoption does not establish a cheap entry price.

MECHANISMS / CONDITIONAL RESEARCH

Mechanisms & future potential

How does this money respond when people want to hold more of it—or less?

01Historical outcomes

No comparable historical purchasing-power sample in this framework.

02Mechanisms & future potential

Use existing rules to form falsifiable conditional judgments, without assigning certain future outcomes.

Pearl PRL

AI use to token demand

Mechanism reviewed · effects unverified

A new source of demand is hypothesized; transmission into native PRL demand remains the decisive gap.

Mechanisms have pinned-version support; their stabilizing economic effects are unverified.

Evidence record 2026-09-29Conditional analysis 2026-10-07

What might respond when demand changes?

Conditional analysis: hold the rules fixed and examine direction, scale, delays and costs. These are not price forecasts.

More AI tasks may increase network activity or simply participation in PRL production. Verifiable settlement and balance demand are needed to support a monetary-demand case.

Strengthen the case

What evidence is needed?

Independent customers pay repeatedly, contracts reconcile to on-chain flows, and PRL has a necessary holding or settlement role that persists in weaker markets.

Weaken the case

What would falsify or weaken it?

AI revenue grows while PRL is only earned and sold, or customers use the full service without acquiring PRL.

Next verification

Trace one real paid workflow: customer payment, service delivery, PRL acquisition and holding, and miner sales; reconcile values and participants.

Rewards, interest and burns affect net supplyAn adjustment hypothesis can be tested; its actual direction and scale are decisive.
Height-based declining issuanceA new source of demand is hypothesized; transmission into native PRL demand remains the decisive gap.
Nominal cap; deployment and powers unresolvedDemand differentiation is researchable; allocation and upgrade powers remain independent constraints.
Scheduled halvings; issuance does not track demandScarcity and self-custody have mechanism support; stability depends on demand and market absorption.
Continuing tail issuance with block-weight rulesPrivacy use and continuing miner subsidies have mechanism support; stabilizing effects of tail issuance remain untested.
Scheduled issuance; era-specific fundingShielding offers usage potential; actual path adoption and holding demand determine its economic significance.
Scheduled halvingsPayments and MWEB are demand hypotheses, without demonstrated purchasing-power adjustment effects.
Scheduled halvings; adjustable capacityCapacity can adapt to transaction load; monetary supply and holding demand require separate assessment.
Continuing fixed block subsidyContinuing issuance is predictable; demand resilience and stability effects need independent verification.

How to assess mechanism potential

  1. Separate base issuance, net supply, transferable balances and transaction capacity. Mining difficulty adjustment is not purchasing-power adjustment.
  2. Stabilizing feedback can arise through market behavior; a consumer-price oracle is not required. Its direction, magnitude and timing must dampen shocks rather than amplify them.
  3. More usage need not increase desired money balances. Examine why users hold the asset, for how long, and whether they can obtain the same service without it.
  4. Code, deployment, behavior and economic outcomes are distinct evidence. Mechanism inferences neither fill historical stability scores nor raise score coverage, and cannot offset allocation or authority risks.

This edition adds conditional analysis to the listed existing evidence, without new mainnet replay or causal-effect validation. Potential is not converted into return probabilities or price targets.

THREE SEPARATE JUDGMENTS

Reach separate conclusions on quality, adoption and valuation

Monetary quality

Use common properties and weights to assess rules, rights and outcomes, retaining intervals for unknowns. Merchant counts, user counts and market cap add no quality points. Historical purchasing power can be measured; mechanism potential has separate conditions and counterevidence.

Quality ranking

Real monetary adoption

Examine the scale, persistence and contexts of actual holding, payments and native pricing. Live features, address growth and exchange volume are not substitutes for adoption evidence. Documentary observations and missing measurements remain distinct.

Adoption evidence

Investment valuation

Analyze entry conditions using price, float, dilution and executable depth, then test how demand reaches holders. The 0.5 / 1 / 2 / 5× cap scenarios change valuation assumptions, not quality or adoption conclusions. Reference caps are not target caps.

Valuation scenarios

The three layers have no combined score. The former quality-and-relative-cap potential index is no longer displayed; a small market cap does not establish undervaluation.
